Raised in the mountains of Southern Oregon, I grew up driven by ambition, responsibility, and a desire to prove myself. I became a father at eighteen and spent the next several decades chasing success, stability, and meaning, all while operating under a false understanding of Christianity. Though I believed myself to be secure, my life was marked by immaturity, self-rule, and a growing devotion to money and personal achievement rather than to God.
That path eventually collapsed. In my forties, after the failure of my marriage and the loss of direction and hope, God graciously intervened. He led me to a faithful church where the true Gospel was clearly proclaimed, exposing my false foundation and bringing real repentance and faith. From there grew a deep hunger for Scripture and sound doctrine, leading me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries from The Master’s University, complete the MABC program, and become an ACBC-certified biblical counselor.
Today, I am grateful for God’s mercy and for the family He has given me: a godly wife who shares my devotion to Christ, an adult son, and two young children, along with the blessing of involved grandparents. My aim now is simple and costly—to live under the authority of God’s Word, to honor Christ in every area of life, and to help others move from false assurance to genuine faith and lasting transformation.
